Shelby Ruff
Shelby Ruff has worked in the Solar Energy Industry for 15+ years and has developed hundreds of solar energy projects around the globe, including his own solar rooftop! He currently serves as the President of the Board of Directors for a 501(c)3 nonprofit, Eco El Paso, and in the past has served the Board of Directors for Solar San Antonio from 2009-2015, when if formally merged with Build San Antonio Green, and worked to transform San Antonio into the 6th largest U.S. city in installed solar capacity. Shelby successfully co-founded, managed, and sold Solar Community LLC, a nationwide residential solar energy company, to a global solar energy distribution & training firm. Shelby also has 17+ years of Recruiting, Talent Acquisition, & Employer Branding experience supporting high growth businesses around the globe. Shelby received his MBA in Management and his Bachelor's of Business Administration from St. Mary’s University of San Antonio. Shelby was also a member of the NCAA Division II Men’s Soccer Program at St. Mary's University in the Texas Heartland Conference.
